Raj Basavaraju, Founder and CEO
Raj is an entrepreneur at heart, with a passion for simple solutions. Raj has most recently been consulting in the mobile and social media software industry, with a focus on developing scalable back-end infrastructure. Prior to starting Wildcard, Raj was instrumental in helping Stage6 (a video sharing site operated by DivX) scale to support 20 million visitors per month. Raj was one of the founding team of Eventful and also served as Chief Database Architect. A graduate of University of Nevada-Reno, Raj has over 20 years of engineering, technology, software development, and management experience.
Rocky Rosenberg, VP Business Development
Rocky has held a number of positions key to the evolution of the prepaid marketplace. Most recently, Rocky has been consulting independently with a focus on developing virtual distribution programs for clients looking to leverage the Internet, social networks, and mobile technology as a vehicle to sell gift cards. Before going independent, Rocky was a VP at InComm, where he identified new systems and processes to improve services to internal and external clients, and also provided executive leadership to the gift card client relationship team. Prior to InComm, Rocky was responsible for the development and management of the gift card distribution program at Coinstar, and played a key role in launching this new line of business for Coinstar.
Jim McDonald, CMO
Jim McDonald is a veteran brand builder and tactical warrior. He has served as Chief Marketing Officer for RadioShack Corporation, Bally Fitness Corporation and Pocket Communications, where he managed marketing and advertising including running the web channels. Jim loves to pioneer game changing innovations and new products. While with RadioShack, Jim worked with the Russian Space Agency and produced the first TV commercial ever filmed in outer space on the International Space Station. He has also worked at length for global advertising agencies like Y&R, Omnicom and DMB&B. Experience: IBM, Sprint, HP, MSN, Chevron, Pizza Hut, Ford, Westin Hotels, DirecTV, Chevron, Verizon, RCA, Chase.
